Pan-Afrikan Week 2023

Add to calendar

The Black Students Board helps foster a sense of unity among students of the African diaspora while educating others about our culture. As one of the first African American organizations at NC State, BSB believes that the strength of our people originates from the knowledge of our past, and if we want to go far, we must go together.

Pan-Afrikan Week at NC State is a weeklong celebration of Pan-Africanism, a worldwide intellectual movement aiming to strengthen the bonds of solidarity between all people of African descent.

Our celebration will be April 3-8 and will feature fun and educational events that traditionally cater to the Black student body at NC State. BSB and partner organizations will highlight Black culture and excellence throughout the week.

BSB is proud to continue to celebrate this 50-plus-year-long tradition. The 2023 theme for Pan Afrikan Week is "Black Undefined: Embracing Individual Values While Contributing to and Enhancing the Community and Culture."
