Join Prevention Services for Pause for Paws, a therapy dog session that helps students find comfort and relieve stress during the demanding academic season. Certified therapy dogs from Canines for Service will visit the library to offer their calming presence and friendly interactions to support you in your studies.

During this event, certified therapy dogs and their handlers will be on the patio outside the library's Hillsborough Street entrance. You can spend quality time with these wonderful canines by petting them, playing with them or simply sitting beside them. The dogs have received special training to provide a soothing and nonjudgmental atmosphere.

In addition to students, Pause for Paws is open to faculty and staff members. Mark your calendars, bring a friend and take advantage of this opportunity to de-stress and rejuvenate.

Please note that while these therapy dogs are well-trained and gentle, it's essential that you follow any instructions provided by their handlers. Additionally, please don't bring personal pets to this event.

We look forward to seeing you at Pause for Paws and hope that spending time with our therapy dogs brings you comfort, joy and a renewed sense of focus as you navigate your academic journey.
