The Staff Senate Resources and Environment Committee is pleased to invite you to a guided tour of the Plant Sciences Building and greenhouse on Centennial Campus. Geoff Bock, director of operations for the NC Plant Sciences Initiative, will lead the tour and provide an overview of the facility and its role in supporting research, education and innovation.
This tour is limited to the first 50 registrants. The Resources and Environment Committee will email registrants one week prior to the event to confirm attendance. In the event of cancellations, available spaces will be offered to individuals on a waitlist.
If you drive to the Plant Sciences Building, please note that limited street parking is available on Oval Drive. Deck parking is available on Partners Way, directly behind the Plant Sciences Building. Wolfline is a convenient transportation option; please consult the Wolfline website for routes and schedules.
The Staff Senate promotes and facilitates staff participation in the university community to foster a sense of connection among all university employees. To support this goal, Staff Senate encourages supervisors to allow staff the opportunity to attend Staff Senate–hosted events as part of the workday when possible.
