It's no secret that the gaming industry has struggled with fostering an inclusive environment since its inception. Representation efforts have increased over the past decade; however it's the type of representation that really matters. Can players from diverse backgrounds see themselves as the heroes of their journey? Are the characters that look like them marginalized? Join NC State University Libraries for the next iteration of Raiders of the Lost Arcade. We will take a close look at some of the games that did a really good job with inclusion and diversity.
