Please join NC State University Libraries for Raiders of the Lost Arcade, our inclusive gaming series, which is part of Making Space. We will play a curated selection of games for platforms, including Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X, to explore ways video games can illustrate diverse narratives, aspirations and life experiences. 

Our focus for this event will be stories of grief. Video games have become a powerful medium for exploring complex emotions and themes, including grief. We will highlight games that provide interactive and immersive experiences and allow players to engage with grief on a deep level, fostering empathy and understanding. The games will showcase the unique ability of video games to convey complex emotions and narratives in a compelling and interactive way.
