Join this free workshop to learn how actors in the digital sphere seek to influence us, from scams to manufactured outrage. We will explore how we can resist emotional manipulation to retain our own freedom of thought and agency of opinion. All students are welcome to attend, but seating will be limited.

The event is sponsored by the departments of Integrative Humanities and Social Sciences and the World Languages and Cultures in association with American University's School of Public Affairs.
