The Sustainability Stewards host an environmental symposium every year, featuring discussion panels, film screenings, art showcases, workshops and more to engage the student body. This year, we will collaborate with the College of Design’s Architecture Graduate Student Association and The Student Publication to host a combined discussion panel and art showcase celebrating Raleigh’s sustainable future — from its agricultural roots and physical infrastructure to its cultural identity and interdisciplinary spirit. The discussion will begin at 1 p.m. at the 111 Lampe Drive Building in Room 353. The panel will feature food system designers, architects, historians, local business owners and conservation program directors and natural resources superintendents.  After the discussion, guests will participate in a walk-audit demonstration led by The Bike Library, enjoy a catered lunch and explore local art, crafts and research at the outdoor exhibition.
