Join former Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker (R) and his former chief of staff, Steve Kadish (D), for in-depth discussions on bridging political divides to effectively serve the needs of the public while renewing people’s faith in public service. The Institute for Emerging Issues and the School of Public and International Affairs are the hosts for this event.

We will host two sessions Monday, March 20. The first session will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and is for public administrators, nonprofit staff and others interested in effective public administration. The second session, which will feature NC State University Chancellor Randy Woodson, will be from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. and is for students, faculty and staff. Refreshments will be available at both sessions.

The first 50 attendees who register for the 3 p.m. session and the first 25 attendees who register for the 5:30 p.m. session will receive a free copy of Baker and Kadish’s book, RESULTS: Getting Beyond Politics to Get Important Work Done. Baker and Kadish will be available to sign copies of their book after each session.
