The N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative will host the Council for Agricultural Science and Technology for the release of CAST’s new issue paper titled RNA Interference in Agriculture: Methods, Applications and Governance. The paper, led by Ana María Vélez Arango and Kenneth Narva, explores the potential of RNAi to transform modern agriculture.

The event will include a comprehensive presentation of the paper, followed by a Q&A session and a panel discussion featuring the authors and experts, including N.C. PSI Executive Director Adrian Percy. Following the panel discussion, attendees can enjoy a light lunch and network with peers.
