The NC State Department of Materials Science and Engineering is proud to announce the 14th annual Robert F. Davis Distinguished Lecture Series. Join us for this special lecture presented by Moungi Bawendi, the Lester Wolfe Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His talk is titled “Quantum Dots: A Synthesis Seeds a Journey of Nano-Explorations."

Bawendi is known for his advances in the chemical production of high-quality quantum dots. For this work, he received the Nobel Prize in chemistry in 2023.
