Room to Grow: 2026 Housing Symposium Register
View map Free Event Add to calendar

Housing attainability is one of the most pressing issues facing the Research Triangle today.  Rapid population growth, paired with interlocking market forces and development constraints, have shaped what is possible within the system.

This symposium brings together architects, developers, planners, city officials, and housing advocates to unpack these issues. Keynote lectures and panel discussions will uncover the challenges behind housing production and point to solutions that work within, or against existing constraints. An exhibition will showcase innovative work in the Triangle and beyond.

This symposium is presented by the NC State Design School of Architecture, AIA Triangle, and the NC State Pappas Real Estate Development Program.
