The Silent Witness Project is an exhibit in memory of victims of domestic violence. The Women’s Center hosts the exhibit to increase awareness and education about the impacts of domestic violence in our community. Each decorated mannequin is paired with the story of a person in North Carolina who was murdered as a result of domestic violence. The NC State Silent Witness Project is modeled after the Silent Witness National Initiative. The goal of the national initiative is to eliminate domestic violence murders in the United States.
