About this Event
Talley Student Union, Raleigh, NC 27606
The Sisterhood Dinner commemorates the contributions and accomplishments of NC State women. Its original name was the Susan B. Anthony Dinner, but the name was changed in 1999 to the Sisterhood Dinner to encompass all aspects of the achievements of women. The theme for the 39th annual dinner is Visibility + Vision: Claiming Your Space at NC State.
The women of NC State are responsible for remarkable accomplishments and change — from the grand to the every day, on and off campus. But much of this work can go unrecognized. This year, the dinner celebrates the ordinary and the extraordinary, encouraging women to claim their space while upending societal or gendered expectations to exert our visibility and vision at NC State. We support and honor women behind the scenes and those who make a scene to make us all seen.
