The NC State Literary Reading Series will present author Smriti Ravindra. Ravindra will read from her first novel, The Woman Who Climbed Trees. Ravindra, a Nepali-Indian writer and a Fulbright scholar, earned an MFA in creative writing at NC State University in 2012. Her works have been published globally, including in the U.S., India and Nepal. 

This event will also feature the James Hurst Prize for Fiction and the Shorter Fiction Award Ceremony.
