 nts will be sponsored by SMRT.\n\nRevolutionizing Dry Cleaning: Embracing 
 Robotics for Efficiency and Cost Reduction\nThis project focuses on explor
 ing the underdeveloped field of dry cleaning automation. Despite\nthe clea
 r benefits that automation can bring to the industry\, robotic technology 
 still needs to be\nexplored. Our research aims to change that by examining
  how robotics can enhance garment\nplacement and scanning operations. In c
 ollaboration with SMRT Systems and NCSU Advance\nAutomation Laboratory (AM
 L)\, we have developed a dynamic system integrating modular\nsensors\, per
 ception\, dynamic control\, and robot manipulation into traditional dry cl
 eaning\noperations. With advanced sensors and dynamic control\, our system
  can precisely and\naccurately handle various tasks\, such as garment deli
 very and retrieval. Moreover\, our system\nis highly adaptable and updatab
 le\, allowing easy integration with existing dry-cleaning\nequipment. The 
 dry cleaning industry can seamlessly incorporate our robotics technology\,
  using\nits modular software and hardware interface\, into its operations 
 without significant disruptions or\ncostly investments\, increasing effici
 ency\, reducing costs\, and improving overall quality.
