NC State’s Master of Management, Marketing Analytics concentration (MMA) is proud to present the third installment of its virtual Speaker Series, featuring academic and industry experts in marketing analytics thought leadership. Join us for a presentation by Basiru Usman, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Management, on predictive analytics and how they will impact the future of marketing. The session will be moderated by current MMA student Emily Gower.
Session Overview
Good data beats opinion, and 80% of marketers say most of their decisions today are data-driven. Marketers are becoming increasingly ambidextrous– utilizing skills in creativity and quantitative analysis to deliver valuable data-based insights. Predictive analytic methods are propelling the next wave of marketing evolution.
During this speaker session current Master of Management, Marketing Analytics (MMA) student Emily Gower will speak with Assistant Professor Basiru Usman. Usman’s research focuses on predictive models and the mathematics behind consumer decision making. As a professor of Predictive Analytics courses, he will focus on key issues related to the future of marketing and the use of predictive analytics.
