Join us in Engineering Building II on Centennial Campus to watch NC State’s first astronaut on her way into space. Alumna Christina Hammock Koch lifts off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 3:14 p.m. on her way to the International Space Station.
Koch earned bachelor’s degrees from NC State in electrical engineering and physics in 2001 and a master’s degree in electrical engineering in 2002.
Sponsored by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Refreshments will be served.
The College of Sciences is also hosting a viewing event in Riddick Hall.
