Join the Gregg Museum of Art & Design for a compelling afternoon of art, history and community reflection as we explore the history and cultural significance of North Carolina Freedom Park. Led by Freedom Park Manager Khadija McNair, this exclusive program will offer an insider's look at how art and public spaces intersect to honor the enduring journey toward freedom. McNair, who earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in history at North Carolina Central University, is driven by her passion to share the stories of those who have shaped the places we call home.

A Q&A session will follow McNair's presentation. The program will conclude with a curated walk-through of the exhibition, Community Stories: Sustaining North Carolina Black Heritage.

This event is free, but registration is required.
