Arts NC State invites you to participate in a series of campus residency events with visual artist Clarence Heyward. Now living and working in Raleigh, Heyward is a Brooklyn-born painter and collagist whose work explores notions of the Black American experience. His work investigates cultural truths, challenges stereotypes and questions identity. While some events are open to students only, others are available to faculty, staff and community members.
