You're invited to attend the upcoming TexTell: North Carolina Textile Innovation and Sustainability Engine (NCTISE), hosted by the Wilson College of Textiles at NC State. NCTISE will advance our nation’s capacity for innovations in environmentally sustainable textiles with a focus on circularity — positioning the engine as a global leader in this sector!

During this virtual event, you'll learn more about the North Carolina Textile Innovation and Sustainability Engine (NCTISE), which:

  • Is funded by an initial two-year $15 million award through the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Regional Innovation Engines Development Award, with the potential to unlock up to $160 million in total funding over ten years.

  • Will directly impact central and western North Carolina, upstate South Carolina, eastern Tennessee and southern Virginia. This specific region boasts the largest concentration of textile workers in the nation.

  • Includes partnerships across community colleges, manufacturers, brands, economic development entities, state governments, and more.

If you cannot tune in on Oct. 29, we still encourage you to register! You'll receive a recording of the TexTell after the event takes place.
