Sara Segerlin, director of the Gregg Museum of Art & Design, and Nancy Chavis, director of the Museum of the Southeastern American Indian, will moderate a conversation with artists featured in Stories Told by Breath: Native American Voices in North Carolina. The participating artists are:

  • Harlen Chavis (Lumbee)
  • Karina McMillan (Lumbee)
  • Senora Lynch (Haliwa-Saponi)
  • Idalis Dial (Coharie)
  • Ashytn Thomas (Lumbee)

The discussion will explore the artists’ techniques and concepts and the personal journeys that shape their work. The evening will conclude with a Q&A, inviting the audience to engage directly with the artists.
