The Ergonomics Center will celebrate its 30th anniversary by hosting its first Ergonomics Symposium. The center invites its members, clients and friends to this unique opportunity to network and benchmark with each other on important issues in the field of ergonomics. The program will include tours of the Human-Systems Labs in the Edward P. Fitts Department of Engineering, opportunities to discuss priorities for the future and featured speakers from Lockheed Martin, John Deere, SKF and other companies.  Benchmarking sessions will include these topics:

  • Starting Your Ergonomics Journey: Key Building Blocks for a Sustainable Program
  • Sustaining and Elevating Your Ergonomics Program
  • Participatory Ergonomics Programs
  • Office Ergonomics for Today’s Workforce
  • Challenges Implementing Exoskeletons
  • Ergonomics, DEI and Universal Design
