DESCRIPTION:The Music I Never Knew invites audiences to join violinist Solo
mia Soroka and pianist Arthur Greene in discovering music that history has
too often left behind.\n\nBorn from years of research\, curiosity and a p
assion for overlooked repertoire\, this project brings hidden musical trea
sures back to the concert stage. It follows two intertwining paths: explor
ing remarkable American music of the late 19th and early 20th centuries an
d introducing audiences to the richness\, beauty and vitality of Ukrainian
music.\n\nThe program brings these two musical worlds together\, celebrat
ing composers whose voices deserve to be heard\, remembered and shared.
