  whose bodies don’t conform to normative physical and cultural stereotyp
 es. In this program\, Kate Annett-Hitchcock\, professor emerita of the Wil
 son College of Textiles at NC State\, will discuss her new book\, The Inte
 rsection of Fashion and Disability: A Historical Analysis. The book explor
 es developments that enable people who live with disabilities to participa
 te in the fashion world.\n\nFollowing her talk\, members of the North Caro
 lina Spinal Cord Injury Association will engage in a panel discussion abou
 t their experiences with fashion\, including accessibility of products and
  their views on current branding and retail options for people who live wi
 th disabilities in the United States.\n\nThe Hunt Library's Teaching and V
 isualization Lab will allow attendees to engage with an array of immersive
  visuals\, including historic photos used by Annett-Hitchcock in her resea
 rch.\n\nCopies of Annett-Hitchcock's book will be available for purchase o
 n-site. \n\nThere will be two sessions of this program. The first session 
 will be Tuesday\, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. The second will be Saturday\, March
  9\, at 1 p.m.\n\nYou can attend in person at Hunt Library or virtually. I
