The Great Beyond by Steven Dietz is a comic drama about loss, hope and finding the power to believe from the adult's perspective. The play reunites estranged sisters who have lost their father, the Captain, and whose contentious relationship remains unresolved. While the house is being packed away, Monica, Emily and their partners decide to conduct a seance to contact the Captain. The seance produces the results they hoped for in familiar and completely unexpected ways.

This play is the companion piece to The Ghost of Splinter Cove, which will be at Titmus Theatre from June 14-23. Both plays are set in the same house on the same evening on different levels.
