Join Mary Hauser, interim director of the Gregg Museum of Art & Design, for a tour of Material Messages: The Tales That Textiles Tell. This exhibition explores how different cultures communicate both similar and distinct messages through their particular cloth-making traditions and reveals the depth and breadth of the artistic visions of these multicultural makers. Hauser will highlight some of her favorite pieces and explain some of the installation techniques utilized in the exhibition.
