The Tuition Review Advisory Committee, co-chaired by the executive vice chancellor and provost and the student body president, reviews and recommends campus-initiated tuition increases for resident and nonresident tuition rates for undergraduate and graduate students. The university has traditionally used revenue from campus-initiated tuition increases to:

• Enhance the student experience through quality and accessibility improvements.
• Support need-based financial aid and graduate student support.
• Fund faculty promotional increases.

The committee also reviews and recommends action on any proposed new premium tuition rates or increases to current premium tuition rates.
