Join the College of Veterinary Medicine's director of Undergraduate Research to learn about their career journey, current role and the many research opportunities available to undergraduate students. The presentation will introduce the role of the Office of Undergraduate Research, including resources for connecting students with research opportunities, research communications, symposiums and funding opportunities. Students will also learn about different types of research, including basic, clinical and pedagogical research and receive practical advice for finding research experiences that align with their interests and career goals. During a Q&A portion, undergraduate students who have completed research through CVM will join the speaker to share their experiences. Following the presentation, the speaker and student volunteers will host a meet-and-greet over snacks and refreshments.

The presentation is part of the VetPAC Fall Seminar Series.
