Join Dr. Kady Gjessing and Catherine McDonald from the College of Veterinary Medicine's Omega Transitional Care and Rehab to learn about their career journeys, current roles and the field of veterinary rehabilitation and transitional care. They will introduce students to the work of Omega Transitional Care and Rehab, discuss common cases and patient care experiences and highlight opportunities for pre-veterinary students to gain hands-on experience. Attendees will also learn about the skills and experiences that can help prepare students for careers involving rehabilitation, recovery and comprehensive veterinary patient care. Following the presentation, Gjessing and McDonald will host a meet-and-greet for students to ask questions, connect with professionals and learn about getting involved while enjoying snacks and refreshments.

The presentation is part of VetPAC's Fall Seminar Series.
