Director, producer and cinematographer Rex Miller will join the Gregg Museum of Art & Design for a virtual discussion and screening of his short film, Dark Sea of the Soul. The film is part of crossed kalunga by the stars & other acts of resistance, which can be seen at the Gregg through March 12.

Miller has completed various media projects. He is the author of All The Blues Gone, a book and CD documenting Mississippi blues culture. Miller also directed the documentary films Althea, SOMAY KU: A Uganda Tennis Story and Behind These Walls. He has been the cinematographer for the TV series A Chef's Life and Road to Race Day. Miller had major roles in two Peabody award-winning projects and was twice nominated for an Emmy for cinematography.
