Project SAFE is an introductory three-hour workshop open to NC State undergraduates, graduate students, staff, faculty and alumni as well as local community members. The workshop will address a wide range of information, including:

  • Identity terms associated with the LGBTQ community.
  •  Issues that LGBTQ students often deal with during the coming out process.
  • Concerns that LGBTQ students face in and out of the classroom.
  • Ways that allies can create inclusive environments.
  • On- and off-campus resources available to students.
