Join the Council on the Status of Women for the latest workshop in the Wellness in the Workplace series, which aims to foster a positive environment in your workspaces.
The Color and Calm workshop will focus on how meditation and creative art can provide therapy and restore calm to your workday. Everyone can benefit from getting into a creative mindset, regardless of their artistic abilities.
Local artist and arts educator Sheila Judge Hall will lead a creative color session. Participants will make a piece of art they can take home. Art materials will be provided. Space is limited, so registration is required to attend.
Delisia R. Matthews, an associate professor in the Wilson College of Textiles' Department of Textile and Apparel, Technology and Management, will lead a meditative session.
This hands-on workshop will be in one of the open-air containers at The Corner on NC State's Centennial Campus.
