Wolfpack Pictures will screen Brokeback Mountain as part of its Queer Cinema film series. This Oscar award-winning film tells the story of Ennis and Jack, two shepherds who develop a sexual and emotional relationship. Their relationship becomes complicated when both of them get married to their respective girlfriends. This event is free and open to the public. Communication, rhetoric and digital media student Al Rodriguez will introduce Brokeback Mountain and lead a talk-back session after the film.

Wolfpack Pictures is a film collective run by graduate students in the Department of English and the communication, rhetoric and digital media program. The film series is made possible through the generous support of the departments of English and Interdisciplinary Studies, the communication, rhetoric and digitial media Ph.D. program and NC State University Libraries. If you have questions, contact faculty sponsor John Stadler.
