The Wolfpack Wellness Research Web Series highlights the groundbreaking work of NC State faculty and staff that focuses on health and well-being. Join us the third Friday of every month at 2 p.m. for a roughly 30-minute talk by an outstanding faculty or staff member. Each session is recorded and made available on the Wolfpack Wellness YouTube channel.

Jocelyn Taliaferro will discuss the "Black Women’s Mental Health Study." Taliaferro is an associate professor in NC State's School of Social Work. Taliaferro’s current research interests include nonprofit lobbying and teaching using contemporary television. She recently completed a book on teaching social policy using the HBO series The Wire. She currently serves as principal investigator for the Opioid Workforce Expansion Program, which provides students with addiction prevention and treatment training and education and a $10,000 stipend.
