The Wolfpack Wellness Research Web Series highlights the groundbreaking work of NC State faculty and staff that focuses on health and well-being. Join us the third Friday of every month at 2 p.m. for a roughly 30-minute talk by an outstanding faculty or staff member. Each session is recorded and made available on the Wolfpack Wellness YouTube channel.
Matthew Bahnson will discuss "Discrimination and Wellness." Bahnson earned a doctorate in applied social and community psychology at NC State, a Bachelor of Arts in psychology at the University of Northern Iowa and an Master of Arts in social sciences at the University of Chicago. Bahnson’s research focuses on sociocultural inequality in engineering graduate education with the intention of increasing diversity, equity, inclusion and justice in STEM graduate education. He is a postdoctoral research scholar in engineering education with the Engineering Cognitive Research Laboratory at Pennsylvania State University.
