The Wolfpack Wellness Research Web Series highlights the groundbreaking work of NC State faculty and staff that focuses on health and well-being. Join us the third Friday of every month at 2 p.m. for a roughly 30-minute talk by an outstanding faculty or staff member. Each session is recorded and made available on the Wolfpack Wellness YouTube channel.
Robert Clark, professor of economics and a professor of management, innovation and entrepreneurship in the Poole College of Management, will dicuss "Financial Literacy: Pensions and Retirement." Clark is also a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and a member of the Pension Research Council Advisory Board. Clark has conducted research projects examining retirement decisions, the choice between defined benefit and defined contribution plans, the impact of pension conversions to defined contribution and cash balance plans, the role of information and communications on 401(k) contributions and government regulation of pensions. He has completed a series of studies examine employer-provided financial literacy and retirement planning programs and how these plans affect worker decisions.
