Words have the power to influence, inspire, provoke thought and catalyze social change. WORDS = POWER explores our relationship with words and addresses a variety of issues, including beauty, destruction and resilience. This collection of student-made artwork, videos and interactive spaces was born out of the Crafts Center community and incorporates the use of words, phrases, poems and written texts. Join the Crafts Center for the opening reception of WORDS = POWER. The reception will include:

• Interactive stations, including a large canvas with prompts and a magic board
• Speakers and gallery tours
