The football game at Carter-Finley Stadium on Oct. 5 is dubbed the Sustainable Wolfpack Game. Join the Zero Waste Wolves at the stadium on Oct. 6 to sort recyclables. Our goal is to divert hundreds of pounds of waste from landfills. Oct. 6 is national Green Sports Day, and we hope to change the way immense amounts of plastic waste generated by college sports programs is processed. NC State received an award from the Green Sports Alliance in 2019. Zero Waste Wolves hope to continue that legacy through continued action at our largest sporting events.
