We’re one of the largest departments on campus, with an average yearly count of 750 undergraduate majors and some 70 full- or part-time graduate students. And while being big has its advantages, we maintain a small-school feel: you’ll get plenty of individual attention in our intimate classroom settings; you’ll have one-on-one advising with caring, knowledgeable advisors; and you’ll be part of a vibrant community where curiosity, creativity and a spirit of adventure are fostered and encouraged.
